Biography:
Alicia Philipp served as the President of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta from 1977-2000. The Community Foundation is a philanthropic anchor institution dedicated to strengthening the Atlanta region. During her tenure, she served on the board of numerous philanthropic serving organizations locally and nationally. Philipp was also named to Georgia Trend magazine's Business Hall of Fame, the "100 Most Influential Atlantans" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and to the Atlanta magazine's Atlanta 500.
Philipp received her bachelor's degree from Emory University and an MBA from Georgia State University. Upon retirement in 2020, she moved to Portugal to be near her daughter and grandchildren and nearer her son in London.
