On Thursday, June 24, 2021, Charis Books & More held an online event, "The Georgia Transgender Oral History Project: Morna Gerrard and AC Panella in Conversation." The event was recorded and is available via Youtube.

TRANSforming the Archives

On October 25, 2022, Special Collections and Archives hosted their annual Out in The Archives Event. The 2022 event - "TRANSforming the Archives" brought together project volunteers who shared their life stories and project experiences. 

American Historical Association Conference

On January 4, 2024, Ashby Combahee and Morna Gerrard talked about the Trans Project as part of a panel about Southern Queer History

Queer History South Conference

 

On February 23, 2024, Ashby Combahee presented tice at the conference in Charlotte, NC. Ashby's first presentation was part of the Welcome and Project Highlight Session that opened the conference, and their second presentation was part of the "LGBTQ Oral Histories: Why? Why not? Who should? Who shouldn't?" session.
