Dr. Mandy Swygart-Hobaugh leads the Georgia State University Library's Research Data Services (RDS) Department. She hails from the Hoosier state (Indiana), earning her M.L.S from Indiana University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Purdue University. Her professional background has been quite varied, including working as an academic librarian in a small, liberal-arts college and university settings, as a public librarian, and here and there as an adjunct professor in library science and sociology and gender studies.
