Contrary to popular belief, you CAN'T get everything for every type of research on the web. The reason is COPYRIGHT. and it's evil sibling, PAYWALL.

Except for United States, state, and some foreign government documents, nearly all books and journal, newspaper, and magazine articles that are more than seventy-five (75) years old are under copyright. Publishers and professional societies are not in business to lose money.

Therefore, most books, journal and magazine articles, and back newspaper articles, are NOT available as free, full text on the web. If you need good quality books and journal, magazine, or newspaper articles, rely on library databases and the catalog.
