Biography:
Craig Iverson-Cook was born and raised in small town Ohio. He briefly attended West Virginia University and eventually moved to Atlanta. He began attending Gay Spirit Visions conferences in 1993 and has continued to attend.

Abstract:
Iverson-Cook describes growing up in Ohio in a conservative, religious family who nevertheless responded positively to his coming out as gay. He talks about his romantic history, particularly his first long-term relationship and his relationship with his late long-term partner, Shawn. Iverson-Cook shares his memories of highlights from various Gay Spirit Visions conferences and offers his thoughts about the future of the conference.
