Teaching with Business Case Studies: Online Resources

This guide is designed to help faculty and instructors locate business cases currently available through the library and online resources.

Databases with Business Cases

Below are the highly recommended databases for business instruction using the case study method:

  • O'Reilly for Higher Education has robust business and information system e-books and e-cases. The teaching cases are available in videos under the "case study" format of your teaching subject areas, i.e., Accounting and Finance, Risk Management, or Entrepreneurship.undefined
  • Bloomberg for Education/Case Studies is available through Robinson College of Business. GSU faculty, instructors, and students can register for a Bloomberg for Education account to access the case studies. Once registered at the Bloomberg site, RCB staff will verify your GSU status and send you a code providing you access to your account. Additional information on how to apply Bloomberg case studies in your classrooms is available through the Leveraging Bloomberg Businessweek Case Studies web recording. Note: Bloomberg is geared towards financial education, but some of the cases do overlap into other business disciplines. undefined
  • Sage Business Cases is a set of internationally-focused Business Cases, available through the University Library and. The cases are designed to engage students in applying core concepts from the global business world. They can be browsed by discipline, region, content partners and more. Instructors can contact contact the Business Librarian to request access to the instructor content for teaching. Sage Business Cases landing page
