Teaching with Business Case Studies: Online Resources

This guide is designed to help faculty and instructors locate business cases currently available through the library and online resources.

Getting Started

With online classes in mind, this guide is designed to help faculty and instructors locate business cases currently available through the library and online resources. This guide provides business cases available in databases, e-books, e-journals, and free (open access) online sources for faculty to create content for their iCollege courses. These resources are available to faculty and students for no additional costs or subscription fees, unless noted.

In addition to textbooks, business cases are used in education to help students learn more about business principles through fictional or real-life events faced by managers, companies, and industries. Case studies help students to sharpen their problem-solving skills and better retain major business concepts.

Unlike the cost of textbooks, the electronic resources in this guide are freely available to students when faculty embed the links to the resources in the iCollege or e-syllabi course packs. Some publishers, such as Harvard Business School Press, produce and sell cases for teaching and learning purposes. However, the resources highlighted on this guide are freely available through GSU Libraries or Robinson College of Business.

Note: Due to copyright restrictions, faculty can imbed the direct or permalinks in iCollege but not the actual content.

If you need any assistance, please contact your Business Librarian to set up a personal WebEx consultation.
