In case if you do not like to use Overleaf, you need to download LaTeX software. Check out the MiKTeX or TeX Live distributions; they contain a complete TeX system with LaTeX itself and editors to write documents.

How to download TeX Live?

• Go to TeX Live website: external link for TeX Live download 
• Click on install on Unix/GNU/Linux or install on Windows or install on MacOS depending on your system

• Click on Easy install
  • 
• Click on install-tl-windows.exe file
  • 
• Install the software

• Go to MiKTeX download website: External link for MiKTeX download
• Click on Download
  • 
• Install the software
• During the installation you will be prompted to select the paper size. We recommend that you choice letter (this can be changed later if needed).
