Describe the skills you learned using GSU's College-to-Career (CTC) Competency Skills – learn more at collegetocareer.gsu.edu

Got the job interview? Talk up your data skills! For example:

Talk about how knowing data analysis programs like R or SPSS will help you analyze data to improve the company's or organization's services.

Talk about how you can use Tableau to make interactive data visualization dashboards for company/organization client engagement.

Applying for graduate school?

Tell graduate programs what you learned and how you are now better prepared to be successful in their program.

The programs will see your initiative as great preparation for the data skills you'll be learning during your graduate studies.

The GSU Data Ready! Badges program resonates with the GSU's Strategic Plan, particularly with the following goals from the Beyond College to Career focus and Student Success 2.0 focus:

1.2 Develop students’ digital skills through an infusion of content into the general education curriculum and through certificates or micro-credentialing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

3.2 Expand availability of high-demand degree programs and other credentials at the graduate level with attention to student needs around instructional modality (online, face-to-face, hybrid), affordability and connection to local, national and global workforce needs.
