This guide documents the Popular Culture collection housed in Special Collections and Archives.

About the Collections

 

The Popular Culture Collection began in 1984 with the acquisition of the WSB Radio records and grew to include other radio broadcasting collections, comic book collections, pulp fiction publications, theater collections, and others. Radio broadcasting collections include WRAS Radio records, Don Naylor papers, Don Kennedy papers, the Ed and Sheila Hula collection, the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame, and others. It also consists of the 7 Stages Theatre records, the Popular Culture Literature collection, the Comic Books collection, the Southern Visual Storytelling collection, the Alan Dion collection of comic books and comic art, and more.
