One way to provide students with easy access to reading materials and other library content is to include a stable link to the full text of a specific article or item in the GSU library databases on your syllabus or your course page. You can also link to films and images.
It's easy to create or copy this link yourself. Sometimes you can just copy the URL in the URL bar at the top of the page. However, this is oftentimes not the best method. Sometimes the link in the URL bar is a temporary link, or sometimes it is too long for a browser to process it. Sometimes it does not route the user through our authentication software in which case it may prompt the student to pay. However, nowadays, most databases provide a share option. Each database is a little bit different. Instructions for finding the best links are included in the tabs on the left. Alternatively, if you'd like the library to do this for you, you can request a library reserves course page .
