Georgia enacted its FY 2024 budget in May 2023. The budget reported $61.4 billion in total spending, an increase of 7 percent over the previously enacted budget. Georgia also approved one-time tax rebates for residents in calendar year 2023.
ARC collaborates with local governments and transportation agencies to develop the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), which prioritizes transportation investments in the 20-county Atlanta region through 2050 to improve mobility in the Atlanta region.
