Open for Student Success 2023: Program

Mini-conference about Open Educational Resources and Affordable Learning Materials

Open for Student Success 2023

Georgia State University Mini-Conference Sponsored by the University Library

In celebration of Open Education Week 2023, Georgia State University Library hosted a virtual mini-conference on March 3.  The theme this year was: Open for Student Success. A detailed schedule can be found here. This free event, open to all members of the GSU community, allowed faculty and students to share their stories and wisdom with attendees who wish to learn more about Open Educational Resources.

Georgia State University is one of eleven institutions accepted into the OpenStax Institutional Partnership for FY2023. During this year, we are focusing on fostering awareness and use of openly licensed and affordable resources to increase student success and address diversity, equity, inclusion and representation issues related to course materials.
