Using the Citation Plugin
Mendeley offers this very helpful guide on installing the citation plugin and using it effectively, at both basic and advanced levels.
The Mendeley Citation Plugin allows you to cite while you write in MS Word.
It can also be used to generate a bibliography.
In the example below, the three highlighted citations were entered into a Word document by clicking on "Insert Citation" from the Mendeley Word plugin. The bibliography was automatically generated by clicking on "Insert Bibliography." The style chosen was APA 6th edition, but many other writing styles are available.
