Don’t use this tool for finding individual articles. This is the best tool for stuff
that’s on the shelves. We have 1.5 million items on the shelf. There are scanners on Library North 1 and 2.
Finding Print Books
- The best library catalog searches use 2-4 keywords.
- Type in your keywords: climate change rainfall temperature
- After you see your results, look to the left for filters:
Select books
• For print books, select GSU Library (Atlanta Campus)
• Note the location (building and floor) and call number (it’s alphanumeric)
• P3554 comes before PS3554.
• P355 comes before P3554.
• Just ask us if you need help finding anything!
Finding eBooks:
- Deselect GSU Library (Atlanta Campus) if you still have it selected
- Select: Books
- Select: Full Access Online
- Under the individual result you want, Click “Online Access”
- Click the name of the database in the middle of the page: (Example: EBSCOhost Ebook….or Proquest Central, etc.)
- Most ebooks allow you to save a chapter or certain number of pages. Some ebooks let you download the entire book as a PDF and keep it forever.
