- Atlases are primarily in the Library North 2nd Floor Atlas Collection and Reference Collection. Some oversized atlases are in the Folio/UltraFolio Section, Library South 5th Floor. Some normal-sized atlases are in the General Collection arranged by call number.

Planning Atlanta: A New City in the Making, 1930s – 1990s (A large collection of city planning maps)
A collection of historical Atlanta city planning maps primarily from the City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Regional Commission. All maps have been georeferenced and can be viewed in Google Maps and Google Earth. Also, users can download GeoTIFF files and JPEG images of the maps.

The focus of Map Collections is Americana and Cartographic Treasures of the Library of Congress. These images were created from maps and atlases and, in general, are restricted to items that are not covered by copyright protection.
David Rumsey Map Collection

This database provides access to current and historical census data (back to 1790), demographic information, and interactive demographic maps that can be queried and manipulated; users can also create maps and reports to illustrate, analyze, and understand demography and social change. SimplyAnalytics contains over 75,000 data variables covering demographic, historical census data from 1980, real estate, housing, employment, consumer spending, consumer behavior, health data and over 23 million businesses from D&B. The database also includes value-added health care survey data (public health), and marketing data from Simmons Research with information on over 8,000 brands and 450 categories as well as Claritas PRIZM consumer lifestyle segmentation including attitude and behavior data..
