Step 1: Start with GIL

Use GIL - GSU library catalog, to find books in our library

The catalog also lists other materials that are in the library - including microfilm, dissertations, movies, music and special collections.

A keyword ("all fields) search is a good place to start if you are looking for information on a topic. If you have more specific information, you can also search by title, subject or author.

What if my book is not found in GIL or already checked out?

Go to Step Two: Find books from other libraries in Atlanta.

Step 2: Find Books from Other Libraries in Georgia

Search the GIL Universal Catalog - 35 academic libraries in Georgia

If the book you want is available here, click "GIL Express Request" at the bottom of the catalog screen to request it to be delivered to the GSU Library, or you can go to any University System of Georgia library and check out books using your PantherCard.
