Search & Citation Alerts

Search Alerts notify you by e-mail when a stored search retrieves new results on a daily, weekly or monthly basis (depending on the database).  Not all databses have alerts.  Generally, one performs a search and then saves the search (e.g., in the Search History) to create the alert.

By setting up an Author Citation Alert once, users will receive a notification each time the author(s) work has been cited in a database.

Alerts are available through most databases including IEEE.
