Screening Titles and Abstracts
Click the Screening tab on the top of the screen to start screening articles.
- On the screening page you will see a list of references on the left
- The title an abstract of the selected paper appear in the main part of the screening view
- Below the abstracts you will see the decision buttons:
- Click Include if the paper meets the inclusion criteria for your study, Exclude if it does not and Maybe if you are not sure.
- You can use the Exclude with Reasons box to choose a pre-defined exclusion reason. You can create your own exclusion reasons by typing the reason in the box.
- Rayyan’s Auto Scroll setting is turned on by default. Consequently, after making a decision on a reference Rayyan will scroll down to the next paper that needs a decision
- Rayyan will keep track of your inclusion/exclusion decisions
- Use the filter on top of the list of references to sort articles by decision. Undecided is the default filter setting.
