Citation Mining is the strategy of using the reference list in a given resource to find more on the subject. There are multiple recommended ways to locate a source - use a link if provided, use Google Scholar with Library Links turned on, or use GSU Journals Search to locate the journal and article in GSU's subscription databases.
Using Google Scholar with Library Links turned on (see instructions to turn Library Links on here):
Search Google Scholar for your article title, and use the public link or Find It @ GSU to access the article.
Using GSU Library's Journal Search:
Step 1 - On the GSU Library homepage, use the dropdown to perform a Journal search for the desired article's journal title. |
Step 2 - Select Online access for your journal. |
Step 3 - Select the best option available to find the article in a database that provides the journal content. (Pay attention to date ranges!) |
