How to link directly to articles in Science Direct

Most of the articles in Science Direct provide you with a doi that you can use in the citation linker tool.  Access the Citation Linker tab at the top of this guide for more information.

 Here’s another way to create the link:

     1.    Do a search for the article that you need.

2.    Click on the title in the results list to pull up the specific article that you need.

3.    Copy the URL in the URL bar at the top of your screen.

  Here's an example of the link that you will see in the URL bar:

  http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002929707609914

5.    Add the GSU ezproxy, http://ezproxy.gsu.edu/login?url= , in front of the URL.

 

Here's an example of the finished URL:
