Individual and Group Counseling
The Counseling Center provides short-term, time-limited individual and group counseling services for students.
Psychiatry Services
Students who receive psychiatric services at the GSU Counseling Center (GSUCC) must be receiving counseling at either the GSUCC, the Georgia State Psychology Clinic, or UWill to initiate psychiatric services. Students are eligible for up to 5 psychiatric appointments.
Student Victim Assistance
Student Victim Assistance offers crisis intervention, advocacy and support for students. Student Victim Assistance can assist students to determine their options and provide information related to their experience, even if they have no idea what they need or what they intend to do, which is a normal response to trauma. Students who seek victim assistance services are not obligated to pursue criminal or university charges.
UWill
Students receive FREE private, secure, immediate access to a therapist. Choose a therapist based on your preferences: gender, language, ethnicity or focus area at a time that fits your schedule: day, night or weekend. Appointments available via by video, phone, chat or message.
Student Health Clinics
The Student Health Clinic provides high-quality medical care to enrolled Georgia State students. Students who attend to their own healthcare needs are more likely to meet their educational goals. Our caring and committed team of professionals is ready to serve students when they need medical care or advice.
Access and Accommodations Center
The Access and Accommodations Center (AACE) is committed to providing access to campus resources and opportunities to allow students with disabilities to obtain a quality educational experience at Georgia State.
