The University System of Georgia is migrating to a new library catalog system, called FOLIO. The library catalog system is used to order, inventory (catalog), and circulate (check out) print and electronic library materials. Significant work has been done preparing for the migration. Public impacts are beginning as we get closer to the "go live" date.
The current "go live" date for FOLIO is June 25, 2025.
Because of the system change, the University Library cannot purchase library materials over the summer and must stop purchases early in preparation.
- The print book ordering deadline was MARCH 21
- The deadline for eBooks and streaming films on Kanopy and Swank was APRIL 11
