Google Scholar

Google Scholar [scholar.google.com] is different from Google. Google searches public web content while Google Scholar searches journal and conference papers, theses and dissertations, academic books, pre-prints, abstracts, technical reports and other scholarly literature. Linking Google Scholar to Georgia State University will help you access full-text articles in the databases that we subscribe to. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to link your account to GSU on our Google Scholar Guide.

LibKey

LibKey is a suite of products that helps you locate and view research articles with fewer clicks. The LibKey API works with the library's subscriptions and the Unpaywall Open Access database to streamline access to full text content available to the GSU community. Users may need to log in with their GSU campus ID and password when connecting to full text content.

The LibKey Suite currently contains four products: LibKey Discovery, LibKey Link, LibKey.io, and LibKey Nomad. Some features of LibKey are integrated into the BrowZine platform, such as the table of contents views. (The same company, Third Iron, developed both products.). Patrons can see the LibKey Guide for more details on installing and using LibKey products. We also have a BrowZine Research Guide.
