Biography:
Sadie Romanza Limes Green was born in Georgetown, South Carolina in 1934. She was the second child of James and Samenia Limes’ ten children, and their oldest girl. Sadie is a widowed mother of five boys (including twins) and one girl, and she has eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She currently resides in Dover, Delaware.
Abstract:
In this interview, Sadie Romanza Limes Green discusses her childhood in Georgetown, South Carolina. She then discusses moving to New York. Throughout the interview, she discusses her family and in particular, her mother and grandmother. She also discusses her time in school, after-school job, and meeting her husband.
