EVALUATION CRITERIA  

The Faculty Research Committee will consider the following factors when evaluating proposals:  

• Need for funding 

• Clarity of purpose and scope 

• Contribution to an applicant’s professional development 

• Benefit to the Georgia State Library and community and to the library profession 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

Recipients must use funds for the approved purpose. The Faculty Research Committee must approve changes to funding allocations. 

Recipients are encouraged to use library-owned items when possible. Requests to purchase items in the Library's collection are considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Funds usually reimburse expenses rather than paying for costs up-front.
