  • Students should check with their professor for guidance on whether they are allowed to use AI Tools and what is permissible.
  • Any use of AI Tools should be carefully documented and should comply with the University’s Guidance on Generative AI and Data Integrity, Privacy, and Security.
  • Students, staff and faculty should also consider the privacy concerns related to use Open AI tools and should not share propriety information obtained from clients or through subscriptions to library databases as this information could then be made accessible to others using the same tools.
