Georgia State University has been a member of the Federal Depository Library Program since 1970. The University Library currently receives most new government information electronically.
Georgia State University Library is a depository for United States Federal Government Documents and provides access to publications from federal agencies issued through the Government Printing Office. While GSU maintains a small historic paper, microfiche and CD/DVD collection, the University Library primarily provides access to government documents electronically through GIL.
