Creative and Performing Arts

The creative and performing arts provide a major part of the stimulation and excitement offered by life in a large city. Georgia State has a number of talented artists and performers who enrich the quality of life in the university and surrounding urban community.

Below : Photographs of the South published in a new book by John McWilliams. Recordings of music composed, arranged, produced, and performed by faculty and students of the School of Music. Shirlene Holmes portrays abolitionist Sojourner Truth in a solo biographical drama.
