  • List any source of information used for your essay other than your original thought (including course readings) as an American Sociological Association (ASA) style reference with corresponding ASA in-text citations.
    • Do not include DOIs.
    • Place in-text citations inside of the sentence and before the period.
  • Avoid quoting required readings or other sources – instead paraphrase or summarize using your own words and cite the source.
