Proprietary Databases

These research databases are available to currently enrolled GSU students and employees on campus or remotely -- just use your username and password to log in. They are available visitors and Alumni when using library computers on the Georgia State University campuses.

Hoover's Reports in HTML format. Contains U.S. company data for over 15,000 public companies and their SEC filings, U.S. annual reports, plus international company data for approximately 17,000 companies, international annual reports, FactSheets, and country information.
Hoover's Company Profiles: Business Research Collection This link opens in a new window
Hoover Company Profiles in PDF format. Includes information about more than 40,000 global public and non-public companies including location, financials, competitors, and officers.
Business Source Complete This link opens in a new window
Company and industry information and news articles. Special company search for identifying companies.
Business Source Complete can be accessed via the public library, using this link: Business Source Complete (GALILEO link). You will need the GALILEO password supplied by your public library.

Provides business and consumer research in a full-service platform that can create market plans, conduct competitive analysis, raise funds, and locate people. The web-based database, a service of Infogroup, contains information on over 20 million businesses and over 200 million consumers.
