Research Help

Help with your research is available by appointment ( or  404-413-2857.) If I'm not available contact the Research Support Desk at 404-413-2800.

The GSU Library has a new search box called Discover on the homepage. Should you use it or search one of the library's databases (A-Z databases)? If you would like to try it, here are some tips:

  • Be specific with key words or be prepared to find sources NOT on your topic.
  • Use the Advanced search to limit with additional keywords.
  • Limit by peer reviewed articles, full text, or library catalog.

You may want to consider using a more focused database such as Academic Search Complete or MLA International Bibliography, or others available in the list of Modern & Classical Languages databases.
