InCites: Home

This guide offers an overview and how to generate reports for individual and institutional benchmarking by researcher output.

is a powerful tool with an international scope, containing data from Georgia State University and beyond and is now available from the Web of Science database to offer more options for creating custom datasets and reports, including exporting citations from the Web of Science Core Collection into Incites for analysis.

It allows for individual, collective, and institutional data and generating reports for such purposes as:

  • comparing individual publication metrics to others in similar fields at different institutions
  • analyzing researcher productivity and collaboration activity

InCites has pre-generated reports available as well as reports which can be created by the user based on the data within the database.

For additional guidance:

Access to InCites is restricted to current GSU faculty, students, and staff.  The Campus ID is needed to access InCites off-campus.
