Oral Histories at GSU: Oral Histories at GSU

Resources for oral history projects at GSU

Oral Histories at GSU

Staff in GSU's Special Collections and Archives have been managing oral history projects for many years. More recently, it has become known that oral histories are being conducted all over GSU's campus. The Special Collections Department would like to become the repository for campus-wide interviews, and staff are prepared to undertake the work necessary to make those interviews accessible. This guide is designed to serve as a resource to any faculty member, department or school at GSU who would like to be or are currently involved with an oral history-based project. Further, if faculty members would like to ensure the long-term preservation of and access to their oral histories by transferring them to Special Collections, instructions for how to do so are also included here.
