What if my book is not found in GIL or already checked out?

Go to Step Two: Find books from other libraries in Atlanta.

Search the GIL Universal Catalog - 35 academic libraries in Georgia

If the book you want is available here, click "GIL Express Request" at the bottom of the catalog screen to request it to be delivered to the GSU Library, or you can go to any University System of Georgia library and check out books using your PantherCard.

• ARCHE Libraries
  GSU users can apply for an ARCHE card at the University Library Circulation Desk and check out books from ARCHE libraries - 19 public and private colleges and universities in the Atlanta region by using the ARCHE card and Panther card.
• Emory University Library
  GSU users can also check out materials from Emory University Woodruff Library using Panther cards.

Go to Step Three: Interlibrary Loan.

Start from the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) page

Click "Logon to ILLiad" and logon with your Library ID Number which is on the back of your Panther card. Fill in the citation information and place a request.

Start from WorldCat

WorldCat is a union catalog that includes materials from over 10000 libraries worldwide. Starting from WorldCat allows you to request delivery without having to fill in the citation information for the book! After you have found the book in WorldCat, just click on , then click on "Request This Item Through Interlibrary Loan", login and place a request.
