Chat practice page: Home

This is a practice chat queue that doesn't send questions to live chat reference.

To receive questions sent from here:

1. Log into Libchat as usual.
2. At the top right of the chat operator page, under Monitored Departments, click Training/practice. The indicator next to it will turn green.
3. Click Reference Libchat. Its indicator will turn red.
4. Send questions from this chat widget. 
5. Make sure to select the the Reference Libchat queue again to activate it when you log into chat next time.

The Monitored Departments box should look like this if you're testing/practicing:

Reference Libchat: RED

Training/practice: GREEN

When you're done, switch Reference Libchat to green again. Otherwise you won't see real chat questions on your next shift.
