ESL 0093 - Academic Reading: Electronic Books

Electronic Books

Georgia State University Library has a growing number of electronic books. An electronic book is a copy of a physical book that one can read online and/or download to a reader.  You can read any of these books in their entirety on a computer with an Internet connection. Downloading to a reader generally requires installing more software and creating a (free) user account for that company.

To learn more about the library's ebook collection and how to use it, see this guide:

Ebooks = Print Books

Ebooks carried by GSU libraries are usually word for word identical to the print edition.  Many of the ebooks in the library catalog and Discover are published by the highest quality academic presses.  The authority and reliability are equal to the print versions.
