Citing an Academic Journal Article

The basic format for an APA citation to an academic journal is:


Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (Year). Title of article. Title of Periodical, volume number(issue number, *but only* when each separate issue begins with page 1), pages.
