Visitor workstations configured for alumni use are located on Library North 1. You can make a reservation to use one of the Visitor workstations at the Library North 1st floor User Services Desk.
Use of community access workstations is subject to availability. The time limit on use of community access workstations is one hour per day. Wait time for a computer will vary, depending on the number of visitors in line to use the community access workstations.
Visitors, including alumni, must present a photo ID in order to create a personal ID within the Library’s PC Reservation System to reserve time at a community access workstation.
Alumni are able to access the Internet and most of the University Library's databases through the visitor workstations.
If you have a laptop or other portable device that can access the Internet, you may also connect using the wireless service provided by Saxbys Coffee, which is located on Library North 1st floor. Saxbys WiFi does not offer access to the University Library's databases.
The library's catalog of holdings, GIL Find, is available from off-campus to alumni and other non-GSU users. Feel free to search the catalog for books and other materials before visiting.
If you plan to print documents during your computer session, first purchase a $1.00 guest card on the 2nd floor of Library North, and add additional money according to the number of pages you plan to print:
