GSU Alumni Library Guide: Building Access

This guide includes library-related links and information for Georgia State University alumni.

Building Access

Georgia State University Alumni have visitor access to the Atlanta campus library buildings between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, per the Library Access Policy (PDF). Perimeter campus libraries are open to visitors during all library hours.

You may use any open space in the library during this time period, and you may use a visitor computer for one hour per day. For more information on visitor computers, see the Computer & Internet Access tab on this guide. Group study rooms can only be reserved by currently enrolled students and employees.

During the week prior to final examinations and during the final examination period, only currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff from Georgia State University, the University System of Georgia, or ARCHE schools with a valid institutional ID card will be granted access to the University Library. Written permission for access during this time for other researchers must be arranged in advance. The dates of final exams are available on the University's Semester Calendar.
